The Perspektywy Educational Foundation has released the 26th edition of its annual University Ranking, evaluating higher education institutions across Poland.
The University of Warsaw claimed the top position, followed by the Jagiellonian University and the Warsaw University of Technology. Among non-public academic institutions, Kozminski University in Warsaw ranked highest, while the Powiśle University in Kwidzyn was named the best professional higher education institution.
The ranking, prepared by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, includes three main categories: the Academic University Ranking, the Professional University Ranking, and the Study Programmes Ranking.
The Academic University Ranking covers both public and private universities (excluding art schools) that are authorized to award doctoral degrees. This year, the top three positions went to the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, and Warsaw University of Technology.
Kozminski University ranked 17th overall and was named the best non-public academic university. Other leading non-public institutions include WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza (23rd overall) and SWPS University (29th).
For the first time, the ranking also combined public and private professional universities into a single list. This change reflects a shift from evaluating schools by ownership type to focusing on educational quality.

The Study Programmes Ranking assessed 75 major fields of study, including – for the first time – AI & Data Science. The Jagiellonian University leads in this category with 18 top-rated programs, followed by the University of Warsaw (16) and Warsaw University of Technology (11).
The ranking is based on 31 indicators grouped into seven categories: prestige, graduate career prospects, academic potential, research performance, innovation, study conditions, and internationalization.
