The Aerodays 2025 scientific and business conference, focused on the future of European aviation, will be held in Poland for the very first time. The event is scheduled to take place from May 7–9, 2025, in Warsaw.

Organized under the auspices of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Aerodays 2025 (European Aeronautics Days) will bring together leading aviation experts, policymakers, and researchers from across Europe and beyond, according to a Friday press release by Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation (ILOT).

The main theme of the event is: “Europe as a Leader in Aviation: Sustainability and Competitiveness in a Changing World.”

Aerodays 2025 aims to:

  • Promote the Aviation Sector within the EU and globally,
  • Define Common Areas of Industrial activity in Europe and ensuring synergies between ongoing research and development projects,
  • Facilitate Knowledge Exchange and Foster sharing information among stakeholders and creating opportunities for new strategic alliances and consortiums,
  • Strengthen the Potential and Capabilities of SMEs,
  • Support Policy Coordination to bolster research, development, innovation and climate within the aviation sector.

The Aerodays 2025 program includes sessions on topics such as the new aviation research agenda, artificial intelligence, digitalization, aviation safety, and international R&D cooperation. Attendees will also have the chance to explore presentations of new scientific and technological projects, key R&D outcomes from Horizon Europe consortia, and activities of the Alliance for Zero-Emission Aviation (AZEA) – an initiative aimed at accelerating the deployment of electric and hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft.

Confirmed participants include representatives from the world’s largest aerospace companies, the Ukrainian aviation sector, leading European research institutes, agencies, and aviation associations. Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and other institutes from the Łukasiewicz Research Network will also be among the exhibitors.
