The Polish academic and scientific institutions delegation has strengthen Polish-American academic relations, fostering international cooperation and mobility opportunities for students and researchers. The recent Polish-American Scientific & Academic Cooperation Meetup 2025 at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) in Chicago served as a platform for meaningful discussions, networking, and knowledge exchange between institutions from both countries.

The event brought together representatives from academia, government, and cultural organizations to explore new opportunities for collaboration. Delegation was honored to be welcomed by NEIU President Dr. Katrina E. Bell-Jordan and Acting Provost Dr. Sudha Srinivas, who highlighted the importance of global partnerships in higher education.

Discussions focused on the current state of collaboration and future strategies for enhancing academic mobility.

Funding and scholarship opportunities were introduced encouraging American students and scholars to explore study and research opportunities in Poland.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., the Consulate General of Poland in Chicago, and in collaboration with the Polish Cultural Institute in New York and Fulbright Poland. It was co-organized by NAWA, Northeastern Illinois University, and The Kosciuszko Foundation Chicago Chapter.
