The ASEF Higher Education Innovation Laboratory (ASEFInnoLab), established in 2021, is a unique platform for higher education stakeholders from Asia and Europe to expand their professional networks, exchange good practices, and co-create new ideas at the intersection of education, research, and innovation.
In its sixth edition, the ASEFInnoLab project will bring together outstanding experts and scholars to explore the role of universities in developing skills for an AI-powered future.
The theme of this edition is: “Universities’ Role in Developing Skills for an AI-Powered Future.”
The programme features two main components:
- Online Phase: an 11-week long self-paced and collaborative learning journey
- Onsite Events: depending on engagement in the online phase, participants may be invited to join one of the three onsite events in China, the Philippines, or Slovakia between October – December 2025.
Up to 200 selected participants from Asia and Europe will engage in:
- Deepening their understanding of skill needs of an AI-Powered World
- Expanding their professional networks and understanding of the global landscape
- Collaborating with peers in multidisciplinary and intercultural teams
- Co-developing tangible outputs such as micro-credential outlines or research papers
Participation is free of charge and does not require any coding or technical background, and there will be no technological exchanges in this programme.
