For the second time in the history of the EuroScience Open Forum conference, we organize the European Talent Fair addressed mainly to the young people, i.e. high school students, undergraduates, PhD students, and academics at the beginning of their careers.
You will learn about the competences needed by everyone entering the job market and important aspects of the today’s work, such as diversity and digitalization.
During the event there will be various forms of activities available for participants:
- Panel discussions
- Workshops
- Seminars
- Presentations
Participants will have the chance to discover the range of personal development opportunities and job options in science. They can also learn about possible research career paths, both the obvious and the not-so-obvious, and talk to experts about how to develop and make the most of their talents. The EU Talent Fair will also be an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers who are hiring or eager to cooperate with scientists.
Especially for EU Talent Fair Slaven Misljencevic [European Commission] will hold a speech entitled “Create your path to success. ERA Talent Platform”.
In 2024, EURAXESS will celebrate its 20th anniversary, and on June the 10th, 2024, the Commission will launch a revamped version of their platform, the ERA Talent Platform. Slaven will present both platforms and discuss how researchers can use it in order to advance their careers.
