The aim of the CORNET Initiative (COllective Research NETworking) is to support and develop sectoral research in which the role of SMEs is particularly taken into account. Subsequent competitions make it possible to finance research for the needs of specific industries from public (national / regional) sources. These studies are initiated by industry associations of enterprises and are often carried out by specialized research units working for a specific industrial sector.
