BRIdge Alfa is aimed at ideas at the seed stage, where the risk of investment failure is the highest, but can be verified at a relatively low cost. Projects supported in this way constitute an attractive product for Venture Capital Funds. Thus, the equity gap that prevents scientists from reaching the business with their projects will be closed.Investors will receive non-returnable support, which the National Center for Research and Development provides them with for the creation of an investment vehicle. Their network will create an ecosystem supporting the incubation of spin-off companies. Through the vehicle, ideas with a high commercialization potential will be selected. They will enter the market by ensuring that they go through the proof of principle and proof of concept phases and all the services necessary to turn into a spin-off. Non-returnable co-financing from the National Center for Research and Development is 80%, and the support that an individual project can count on is approximately PLN 1 million. Continuous call for applications.
