The Jubilee XXV Fluid Mechanics Conference (FMC2022) will be held in Rzeszow, from 7 to 9 September 2022, is being organized by I. Lukasiewicz Rzeszow University of Technology, under the auspices of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Committee of Mechanics.

This scientific event series – the Fluid Mechanics Conferences – has been organized  every two years since 1974 in various places of Poland and is one of the premier event in Europe bringing together peoples from academia, universities, and research centres to present and discuss in a friendly atmosphere the advances in fluid mechanics research, development and manufacturing. The goal of this conference is to provide a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, methods and results in all aspects of fluid mechanics domain.

Papers on all aspects of fluid mechanics research areas, from fundamental and applied to novel experimental techniques and innovative applications during the conference will be presented.

The J.W. Elsner Competition  for the best paper addressed to young researchers under 35 years of age will be organized, under the auspices of ERCOFTAG and PTMTiS.

The FMC2022 Proceedings will appear in as a journal volume of IOP: Journal of Physics Conference Series.
